Active Bill of Materials and Recipes
Define what every finished SKU is made of, once. Keep track of recipes for raw materials, vendors, quantities, units of measure. BOM versioning is built in, so when a formulation changes, a vendor swaps, or a packaging updates, a new recipe activates and the old one stays in the record. All integrated with inventory levels and costing in GoodDay.
Work Orders Integrated with Inventory and Costing
Track every production run, whether the work happens at a co-manufacturer, a co-packer, or your warehouse. A single integrated system for inventory of both raw materials and finished goods so you know production availability
based on component inventory. Then track as raw materials move into WIP when the run starts and, finished goods land back in inventory when it completes. Available-to-sell and cost calculations are accurate without any manual data input.

Why GoodDay
The operator-designed way to manage production, integrated with your inventory system.
Designed by operators, not ERP consultants
The team that built GoodDay scaled brands like Chubbies. The workflows here reflect how real DTC ops teams actually run manufacturing, co-packing, and kitting, not a generic ERP template.
An item is an item
Other ERPs make you pick a rigid product type and force your work to fit their structure. With GoodDay, whether you are tracking raw materials or finished goods, it lives in the same item model as everything else you sell. Maximum flexibility, no separate setup path, no rigid rules about how your products have to be structured.
Shopify-native, no second system to reconcile
GoodDay lives inside Shopify Admin. Your BOMs, work orders, and component POs share one inventory ledger with your Shopify sales, transfers, and fulfillment. No middleware or nightly sync jobs, less room for error. GoodDay also syncs directly with other core systems, so accurate inventory is pushed out everywhere it needs to go.
Interoperable with your ecosystem
GoodDay is designed to work out of the box with the systems you already use, not replace them. It supports more than 100 best-in-class providers across the ecosystem without the need for extra engineers. Tech and service providers that support CPG are already integrated into GoodDay. Providers such as Crstl for EDI, Drivepoint and Atomic Supply for planning, Dwight Funding for lending, Crew Finance for financial management, Free to Grow CFO for outsourced CFO's and bookkeeping, and more.
AI-native foundation
GoodDay ships with MCP access, so AI agents can already read and act on your operational data. You are adopting a system built for the agentic era, not a legacy tool someone tried to bolt AI onto.
Included, not a module upsell
The Co-Man workflow comes with GoodDay. We do not charge separately for additional functionality, no per-seat charge, no "manufacturing edition" upgrade. Unlimited users, the same as the rest of the platform.
“GoodDay is our source of truth for inventory across every channel. Running orders centrally, including automation of EDI orders through the Crstl integration has been huge. A volume of orders that used to take days to set up by hand now moves through in minutes. Time savings and accuracy are a huge unlock for our team.”

One platform, not another point tool
This workflow shares the same inventory ledger, vendor records, and Shopify sync as the rest of GoodDayOS. Your BOMs inherit your item data. Your component POs flow through the same purchasing workflow you already use. Your Work Orders land finished goods in the same inventory that feeds Shopify, POS, wholesale, and 3PL. Everything stays connected because it was built as one system, not stitched together.
Frequently asked questions
A BOM is the list of components and quantities that make up a finished good. In GoodDay, a BOM is versionable, tied to specific vendors, and drives your purchasing, production, and fulfillment logic across the platform.
A Work Order is a tracked production run. It pulls components from your on-hand inventory, holds them in work-in-progress while assembly happens, and lands the finished goods in inventory when the run completes. Works for in-house kitting, co-manufacturing, or co-packing.
A Kit is the flexible item type GoodDay uses for any finished good made of multiple components. It can be a physical kit (assembled ahead of time and held in finished-goods inventory), a virtual bundle (deducted from components at sale time), or a co-packed product like a bottled formulation. Whatever the shape, it lives in the same item model as the rest of your catalog.
Co-manufacturing (or co-man) is when a third party builds or makes your product for you, like an apparel factory stitching garments or a food manufacturer producing gummies. Co-packing (or co-pack) is when a third party packages a product for you, sometimes including light mixing or formulation: bottling a liquid, packaging gummies into different SKU sizes, or assembling makeup into final packaging. GoodDay handles both in the same workflow, alongside in-house kitting.
Fulfil and similar tools are built for manufacturers running factory floors. GoodDay is built for Shopify brands running co-mans, co-packers, and light in-house production, without the MES complexity or second system. We can coexist with a dedicated WMS or manufacturing tool if you have both needs.
Those tools live outside Shopify and require a sync. GoodDay lives inside Shopify Admin. One inventory ledger, one system of record, fewer places for errors to hide. Pricing is also simpler. The whole workflow is included in GoodDay at no extra charge.
Today, BOMs are one level deep. If a component is itself a sub-assembly, flag that on the first call. Multi-level BOMs are on the roadmap.
Included. No module fee, no per-user charge, or manufacturing edition upsell.
Yes. Work locations can be your warehouse, a co-man, or a co-packer, with shipment tracking for the finished goods coming back.
Yes. GoodDay is AI-native and ships with MCP access, so agents can read and act on your operational data. Production-specific agents are on the near-term roadmap.
